The death toll in Tando Muhammad Khan sugar mills boiler blast has increased to eight, while 20 persons were wounded in the Thursday morning incident.
A boiler exploded in Abadgar Sugar Mills of Tando Muhammad Khan, police sources said.
Ambulances were shifting injured persons to hospitals in nearby Hyderabad. According to sources some of the injured were in critical condition.
Emergency has been declared at the hospitals of the district.
The dead bodies have been transferred to Tando Muhammad Khan government hospital.
Some of the deceased have been identified as Ahmed Nahion, Hussain Bux Khoso, Abdul Majeed Lund, Mumtaz and a security guard Abdul Majeed
